What we believe

1st Peter 3:15 "...and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"

We Believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God

2nd Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work”

We Believe the Bible from beginning to end is trustworthy because we believe God is true and cannot lie. We believe the Bible accurately records Jesus words and deeds, and that the authors wrote as they we inspired by God. (2nd Peter 1:21)

We Believe there is only one True God represented in three persons (Trinity) God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Isaiah 43:10 10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,
“And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.

When Jesus commissioned his disciples to make disciples of all nations and baptize them, he reminded them that the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit are one.

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. *John 10:30 & 2nd Corinthians 13:14*

We Believe God’s Plan of Salvation

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

We Believe Humans were created by and the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Man fell in the Garden (Genesis 3), and have inherited sin due to the fall (Romans 3:23, 5:12). Sin separates man from God (Isaiah 59:2) and Jesus is the mediator that died for the sins for every person that ever has lived, is living, or will live. (2nd Corinthians 5:14) Those who believe are saved by grace; Salvation cannot be earned by human efforts or good works (Ephesians 2:8–9).

We Believe in the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and that He is the Son of God.

Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

We Believe Jesus came from Heaven and came to Earth as a man and lived and walked among us. (John 6:38), and when He was an adult He was prosecuted and sentenced to death at the Cross. (John 19)

We Believe Jesus death was a substitutionary sacrifice, and that his death paid the price for our sin that we might live forever with Him. (1st Peter 2:24); Jesus resurrected from the dead in physical form and ascended into Heaven. (John 2:19-21, Acts 1:9-11)

We Believe Heaven and Hell are real places

Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all of God’s Children who have put their faith in Jesus Christ.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

Hell is the eternal place of punishment of all who do not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Matthew 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

We Believe in End Times Prophecy

We Believe Jesus will return to the Earth to establish His everlasting kingdom.

Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.

We Believe there will be a Final Judgement (Hebrews 9:27, 2 Peter 3:7). Satan, his demons, and all unbelievers will be thrown into the lake of fire (Rev 20:10). God will create a new Heaven and a new Earth for his people to dwell forever (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1)

We Believe that the Church is the Body of Christ; a call out people for God.

The purpose of the church is to worship God and bring glory to Him on the earth (Ephesians 1:4-6). It is to evangelize the world (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2; Ephesians 3:8) and help people to grow into mature Christians (Ephesians 4:11-15).

We Believe shunning the attendance of fellowship with God’s people leads to false doctrine (Hebrews 10: 25-28)

We Believe in Giving

2 Corinthians 9:7 "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

We do not pressure anyone to give at this church nor do we have speakers to come in to sway congregants to give. We do not take scriptures out of context to calls people to give more. We believe God blesses the church as we give cheerfully and according to the scriptures.

We Believe in Water Baptism

Water baptism by immersion is a step of obedience after faith in Christ. It is a proclamation of faith in Christ, a statement of submission to Him, and an identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. In the Bible, only believers who had placed their faith in Christ were baptized - as a public testimony of their faith and identification with Him.

We do not believe infants or children should be baptized because accepting Christ as you Savior must be a conscious decision and infants and children cannot fully understand this. (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4)

We Believe in Baptism of The Holy Spirit. The Fruits of The Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit may be defined as that work whereby the Spirit of God places the believer into union with Christ and into union with other believers in the body of Christ at the moment of salvation by the Holy Spirit taking permanent dwelling inside of us at the moment of salvation. This promise was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost.

Acts 1:5 "for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

We Believe that a believer will begin to develop the Fruits of the Spirit in their lives more and more as they mature in the faith.

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

We Believe in the Gifts of the Spirit and God distributes and uses them through man as He sees fit. (1st Corinthians 12)

We Believe in God’s Creation Roles and that marriage is between Man and Woman.

In The Beginning God created Man and said, “it is not good for man to be alone” (Gen 2:18) He then made Woman from man, brought them together and called it Good. Even though they fell in the Garden, God never changed the order for relationships in the Earth.

Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

We Believe that only a relationship can only be blessed through marriage of a man and woman and that God is against anything outside of that.
